Three children, one room and two parks

With three children, the hard part of Disneyland Paris isn’t the tickets, it’s the room. Not every hotel has one that sleeps five, so the prices on this page are for a single room for all five near the parks, not a double room multiplied. In the weeks we checked, nearly all of those rooms were in the partner hotels and aparthotels around Val d’Europe and Magny-le-Hongre rather than in the Disney hotels.

On tickets, the age that matters is 12: children from 3 to 11 pay the child rate and under-3s go free. Dated tickets are cheaper bought at least the day before than on the day, and three nights give you a day in each park plus Monday morning.

What to do from Friday to Monday

Friday evening
Direct flights from Dublin and Cork land at Charles de Gaulle or Beauvais. From Charles de Gaulle, the Magical Shuttle gets to the Disney hotels in about an hour. From Beauvais, the direct shuttle to Disneyland is suspended, so it’s the airport bus to Porte Maillot and then the metro and the RER A.
Saturday
Disneyland Park, the one with the castle, from opening time. If you stay at a Disney hotel, Extra Magic Time lets you in before the official opening, on a park and at a time that change from day to day. In the late afternoon, the Disney Stars on Parade, and the night-time show after dark.
Sunday
Disney Adventure World, the second park, which was called Walt Disney Studios until 2026. It reopened under its new name on 29 March 2026, with World of Frozen, the area based on the film.
Monday morning
With a three-day ticket there’s still a morning for the rides they want to do again. Bags can stay at the hotel until it’s time to leave: every Disney hotel has a left-luggage service except the Davy Crockett Ranch.

Where to stay

Disney hotels
Six are within walking distance of the parks, from the Disneyland Hotel at the entrance to the Cheyenne and the Santa Fe, 20 minutes away; the furthest have a free shuttle every 15 to 20 minutes. All of them give Extra Magic Time. The Davy Crockett Ranch, with cabins in the forest, is a 15-minute drive and has no shuttle.
Partner hotels
Ten to 20 minutes from the parks by free shuttle. With the aparthotels of Val d’Europe and Magny-le-Hongre, they were nearly all the hotels with a room free for five in the weeks we checked.
Val d’Europe
One RER stop from Disneyland, with a big shopping centre and a supermarket: somewhere to eat and buy breakfast away from park prices.

From the airport to the centre

Charles de Gaulle
The Magical Shuttle runs to the Disney hotels in about an hour: €24 per adult, €11 per child under 12 and free up to 2, so €81 a trip for 2 adults and 3 children, less than the €96 group fare. Since 19 October 2026 it no longer takes cash on board.
Beauvais
The airport bus to Porte Maillot takes 1 hour 30 or more: online, €17.90 per adult and €9.90 per child aged 4 to 11, free up to 3; at the desk, €18 for everyone. From Porte Maillot, the metro and the RER A run to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy, the station at the parks.
Taxi
For five with luggage, ask for a G7 Van, which takes up to 7. G7 Famille comes with a baby seat or booster.

Not with 2 adults and 3 children under 12. Single tickets come to €81 a trip (€24 per adult and €11 per child), and the group fare for 5 to 8 people is €96. It only pays off with more adults: with three adults and three children, single tickets already come to €105.

Do Irish children need their own passport for Disneyland Paris?

Yes, every child needs their own travel document. Under-18s can only get the passport card together with a passport book, and the card is valid for travel to all EU countries, France included.
